What's a semi-layman?

The term isn't used much anywhere else.  I've always defined myself as a semi-layman for a lot of reasons.  It doesn't take much to surpass the skills of a layman! Whatever project I would start, indoors or out, I made sure to do enough research so I couldn't be considered a layman.  I bet you could find a few folks that would be proud to be considered laypeople, but I surely never have.

So who are you?

I'm Adam.  I am a 2020 graduate of The Ohio State University and now work as a Chemical Engineer at a corn processing plant in Iowa.  I've had several hobbies that have a lot of my time over the years, including reading, gardening, collecting fountain pens, woodworking, and more recently baking and brewing!  I've done my best to figure things out before asking and I've learned a lot on my way to where I am now.  I do my best to keep busy outside of work, and sometimes that brings fun surprises!

What am I supposed to get out of this website?

I'm not super sure.  I plan to share instructions, tips, and tricks to do some of the things that I have done in as many areas as I can think of.  Surfing for more info or projects to do is one of my favorite pastimes, so I'll share any source I come across that's worth taking a look at or helped me!
